The prices published on Less.co.uk are for general guidance only. They are based on real contractor submissions and researched market data, but they are not quotes and may not reflect the price you will actually be charged for a specific job.

Prices vary based on many factors including property type, access, materials, location, and the individual contractor. Always get at least three quotes before committing to any home improvement work.

We make every effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of pricing information on this site.

Contractor submissions

By submitting your prices as a tradesperson, you confirm that:

• -The information you provide is accurate and relates to your own business
• -You have the right to submit the information
• -You consent to your business name, trade, and region being published on the site
• -You will update your submission when your prices change significantly

We reserve the right to reject, remove, or unpublish submissions at any time if they appear misleading, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on Less.co.uk - including text, data, graphics, and design - is owned by or licensed to Less.co.uk. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, except for brief quotation with attribution and a link back to the source page.

Journalists and researchers may use our pricing data in articles with attribution ("According to Less.co.uk" with a link). For commercial data licensing, contact us first.

How we earn money

Less.co.uk earns money in two ways. First, our cost pages include a free quote service powered by a lead generation partner. When you request quotes through this service, we may receive a referral fee. This does not affect the price you pay - tradespeople quote you directly and you are under no obligation. Second, some pages (primarily DIY and materials guides) contain affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of these links, we may earn a small commission.

Neither relationship influences our pricing data or editorial content. Affiliate links are clearly labelled near the link. Our quote service is identified by "Get Free Quotes" buttons throughout the site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Less.co.uk and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, reliance on information published on the site, or any transactions made with third parties (including tradespeople or retailers) as a result of using the site.
